Food Bank Garden. Doing Just What It Says on The Tin.
The fab volunteers at the Hayle Food Bank open their doors every Saturday, offering donated food from all over the local area to those of us who are having a tricky time and not managing to make those ends meet anywhere near in the middle. We can give our time on the Saturday, but we thought we can also give a few fresh vegetables and fruit, so built a small dedicated Food Bank Garden. It grows food for the Food Bank, to supplement the tinned and packaged food handed out, and adds to any generously donated fruit and veg we get at the Food Bank from the guys at Riviera Produce. Brilliant. Simple. Easy. :)
