We ran a Blooming Bee Friendly Day in June 2014 with our local Hayle in Bloom group .., and it was fabulous...thank you Cornwall Community Foundation for helping us do this - kicking off with a great school assembly at the splendid Connor Downs School, who used their newsletter to inspire their parents to come along and get properly stuck in with their children. Just brilliant.

Our next Community Blooming Bee Friendly Day was in the Passmore Edwards Institute on Saturday 7th March 2015. We built dozens of bee hotels, made dozens of signs and planted dozens of sunflower seeds - as well as handing out posters, leaflets and lots of advice. And helping more people put themselves on the Hayle Bee Map ! In the run up to Saturday 7th March, we gave giving Bee Assemblies at the bee-tastic Penpol School, and judged their brilliant Bee Costume Competition - go, Penpol!
